Found it, have heard of Autarky but not CSJ, looked on the ingredients list for the Champ and was not that impressed however if your dogs do well on it and they like it then feed it I like the look of the Burnes ingredients but my dogs do not do well on it and some dogs don't so chose the food that suits you and your dog.

I wasn't impressed with the champ food. Mine are on Arden Grange. I think the more expensive CSJ food has better ingredients than the Arden Grange.
Mine also did'nt do too well on Burns.

Teagan is fed CSJ Champ, and has been on it quite a while now.
All the other foods we tried before didn't agree with her body (Autarky, Gusto, Burns, BARF).

I use AG too, tried Burns for about 9 months but then changed back, have spoken to others with my breed and they found the same, it did not suit, spoke to Burns and they also said it will not suit all dogs. Do not think this is anything to do with the food being Burns think it may well apply to all foods, it will suit some and not others have even heard of people going over to raw feeding and having to change all or some of the dogs back to complete.

Going back years I fed my GSD's on a product called K9 that was made locally by a firm that made cattle food, if I remember it was made almost entirely of grain, unthinkable derivatives and molasses, but both dogs led a sickness free 15 years, so it does make one wonder if all the hype about what we feed really does have much truth in it, so as I said before, chose what you find suits you and your dogs, chances are that for you, at least, that is the right food to be feeding.

Murphy (Rottie) is on CSJ Champ and he has a glorious coat and does well on it, like Teagan none of the other good brands agreed with him. Murphy's Testimonial is on the CSJ Champ page

You know i think your right. I think i worry too much about what my dogs eat. I'm picking up some CSJ lamb (gluten free) Thursday. Alot of my agility friends use it & swear by it. Skyes poos can be quite mucus sometimes. The gluten free should help this. (She can suffer from colitis, when stressed)
It would be nice for a change to put the dogs on the same food. So if they look well on it. Then they are staying on it!!!!!!!

I've used Autarky before.....was very pleased with it except it caused weight gain.
I did however want to stick to a diet with no additives etc.Used BARF for a long while...that was great but have had to change back to a complete and am using REDMILLS.....more than happy with it!
