Thanks guys,
im terrified.
Just in case something happens.
i Borrowed hevvur's crate and she is more than happy to go in and sleep etc which is great.
OH has taken 1 week annual leave to stay with her after the op. I just look at her sweet little face and feel terrible that she will be in pain, i feel like i should be protecting her from it not subjecting her to it!

Its easier said than done as I was the same, but try not to worry.
When Ruby got done she was fine in no time The day she came home she was quiet and slept in her cage most of the time, but after that she was back to her over excited self. As everyone has said we just had to try and stop her from jumping up.

xx Good luck China I would carry her up and down the stairs if you can to prevent pulling on the stitches ...

She'll be fine Alex. Try not to worry. The recovery from spaying is usually very quick - within a couple of days they "act" almost normal, so you have to be careful not to resume exercise too early. Just follow what the vet says, and all will be well. Thinking of you both {{{hugs}}} xx

China,
Cassie was quiet the first day, but we couldn't stop her on the second. I couldn't move quick enough to stop her on the stairs and everytime she went up them, I flinched thinking about the stitches. We tried to stay in the same place, both of us in the same room and keep her quiet but she was having none of it. Just do your best, that's all you can do. They recover very quickly.
