My sister in law has an 18 years old cat. He is very crippled with arthritis and have a lot of trouble moving around. He sleeps on a pillow with a heating pad to keep him warm. One morning he woke her up, running back and forth and making a lot of noise. When she went to find out what was going on, the heating pad was smoking. The pillow was already scorched almost ready to burst into flames. There was already a lot of smoke.
She said she had not seen that cat move like that in about 5 years. She is a lucky person.


that was a wonderful thing that the cat did. or pet's are part of are family.


So glad the kitty alerted her to the danger. I have two cats and one is always aloof. One morning she walked all over me, crying like crazy, I finally got up to see what her problem was. It was so out of character for her. I found the other kitty laying on the bathroom floor about one hour from death. Literally, that is what the vet told me. Never under estimate the feline. They are very intuitive.


Good kitty...^-^ I'm glad that your sister-in law is okay though! I know I would've been slightly scared if that had happened to me! Aren't cats wonderful?
