Hey everyone next Thursday is St.Patricks Day. I hope all that celerbrate have a great day for the man who chased the snakes from Ireland. Next thursday the whole world is Irish.
We were just talking around the office and thinking of some of the great Irish toasts.
So too all my friends I give you two,

I'm going to Newport, RI for the Irish festival this weekend... lots of good music, fun people, and green beer! Next weekend I'm running in a St. Patty's day race-- followed by more good music, fun people, and green beer! I love this holiday!

Hi, been busy with my Mum, she fell and broke her hip, she is much better now. thanks for the good wishs. My B-day is this Sunday I'm going to be 38 (counting backwards now). :eek:


St Patrick's Day Parade

The first ever St Patrick's Day celebration in America happened in 1737 in Boston, and the city still boasts one of the USA's biggest St Patrick's Day parties.
The annual parade begins from Broadway at the MBTA Station and goes to Andrew Square, boasting floats, fancy dress and all the usual hullabaloo we've come to associate with this quintessential Irish celebration. Expect marching bands and pipe bands from all over North America.
St Patrick's Day is one of the only national holidays celebrated outside its native land - a clear indication of the Irish influence thoughout the world and especially in the USA.
