Question:
In the past year, I abused my IMing priveleges at home and since then, got cut off from the outside world. Now that I'm at school with longer acces to computers, I can now IM you guys whenever I want! My screenname is reystingray , just like my forum name. I really want to chat with you guys live and not in posts! They seem pretty lax here with people on the computers. I couldn't do this in my high school because they had a pole up their a$$ on what you could do in the comp lab, but this is a lot easier!

Good luck in college Quinn. Enjoy the freedom and have fun. Just don't forget why you are there. It's hard work, but when you start taking classes in your major and see it as the key to your future you will enjoy classes as much as college life itself. I graduated last year and just got my first job. I will finally get to see my college education pay off.

The other night when you IM'ed me and were talking to me, im sorry that i wasnt very responsive... i was on the phone with a long distance friend... and you know how that goes... hahahaha im not good at multitasking! but i promise you that the next time you come online i'll talk with ya lotz!

Shana- Thanks for the encouraging advice. Even though it's my second week and I'm still a bit whiny about my tough classes, I'm beginning to understand it's WAY different than high school, where the teachers took better time to know you and helped you one on one with work, and I love being around so many different people!
And Kim- That's alright. I understand about the long distance calls. A call to my gf ain't exactly a local money-saving idea at all! But didn't you say you go to school Wednesday? It's going to be tricky trying to IM you. Aren't we two time zones apart? And multitasking is tough. I can't talk on a phone and work a computer either. oh well LOL

You will find now that no one is going to check up on you and reprimand you for not completing the work or making the grade (except your parents of course). It's all up to you now whether you fail or pass. Give it your utmost attention. We'll be here any old time, don't waste too much of your time on line. We'll always be here when you need us. Right now you need to focus on school and your future. My money's on YOU!!!!!
