Question:

OK this is not p related - but this has been the WEIRDEST night - I stayed home since not much was going on, I had a bunch of busywork to do, and since all the Oscar parties and hoopla are tomorrow, wanted to rest up - thought it would be some down time - can I just say that an hour or so or go I experienced an earthquake, and now there is a very LOUD helicopter flying over my neighborhood with it's search lights on? It is so close it is shaking my apt., once again - not common in this area - what is this world coming to? So much for a peaceful night at home getting my taxes ready LOL.

Answers:

Where is your location....:)

Answers:

Los Angeles - as a So CAL native, I suspect it was between a 4.0-5.0. I guesstimate the epicenter was not more than an hour away - morning news should see how good I've gotten over the years!

OOPS! Just realized you're here too - didn't you feel it? I know it was real because I called my girl/friend and she felt it too - although she thought it might be a mudslide, her house is on a hill! BTW, I'm in the Valley - see anything on the news? I don't get cable.

Hey, JGirl - you're probably asleep - I'm reading this at 7:30 AM on the east coast. Any other tremors? Hope things have quieted down...
We've had a snowless winter here - until this week, when we got a few inches. And now, they're predicting a hum-dinger of a storm for us in the Shenandoah Valley starting late tonite. I swear I never should've watched that movie about climate change (what was it called again??)!! It's got my imagination working overtime, between drought, megasnows, hurricanes, & earthquakes & volcanos...
Didn't Cayce mention something about this? It's been such a long time since I was interested in his predictions, I forget.

Answers:

Got the 411 - it was only a 2.9 quake but the epicenter was pretty much down the streeet, that's why I felt it. I guess that's about the equivalent of a 5.0 an hour away   :o
No, I have not read that stuff by Cayce, although I did just buy a book on some of his theories etc. Friday. There are so many on him! I find prophecy and all that fascinating but should probably stay away, as I am somewhat high-strung and have a VERY active and vivid imagination - if I want to sleep at all, it's best for me to stay away from diasaster predictions! :o :( LOL :D
The book I bought was on getting in touch with your higher self/subconsious.

Hope it stays quiet, now that the earth has "burped"!
I know what you mean about "imagination"...mine runs amok occasionally, like a squirrel that's gotten inside the house and it's REALLY hard to get it back where it belongs! :)
