Question:
my beeper goes off and i see its the hospital with 911 so i get in my truck and drive as fast as it will take me with my flashers on passing cars like there not moving . run into the hospital room where my mom lays with all my siblings there already. mom unconsious i sit by her grab her hand as if she knew all her children were there takes two breaths and dies with her hand in mine. omg what a loss that was. the priest comes in and says some people have the ability to hang on even unconsious till there ready to go .
next the drive back to my parents house to tell my dad since he was to weak to be there at the time. it was dark by the time i got there and he was sitting on his screen porch. when i told him that his wife had passed away all he could do was drop his head back and howl the closest thing to that sound would be what a wolf would sound like howling at the moon .all i could do was cringe and look away it cut into me like a knife ripping into my heart. but if i would have looked hard i would have seen his soul rushing from his body at that moment cause after that moment he was a walking deadman for a few months till his body caught up with his soul. some things i guess we just have to live with and when i lay in bed and hear that howl i still cringe.as i layed in bed last night that howl rang over and over and i though mabe if i wright this were others can read it it will be kinda theropy for me and the howls will be less frequent. that sounds to easy tho.

My parents are both still living but I do dread that day ... I imagine when one goes, the other will not be far behind ...

jrs,,,when I read something like this well I always cry,,,brought back some terrible crys i've heard,,,,I'm so sorry for you,,,,my brother-in-law did the same thing in the hospital,,,when I came out from seeing my niece and had to tell him she's gone,,,,the hospital echoed his scream,,,,I have the chills,,,yes I do know,,,and more than once at that,,,, again,,,i'm sorry for your loss,

I am so sorry. Losing a loved one is hard, no matter who it is but to me, Mom is the one I miss the most.
Losing my Mom was hard, but she smiled at her last breath, so I knew she was not in pain anymore.
I lost my "baby" brother when he was 38. When you are in a large family you never think of a younger one going before you and especially before a parent. That was hard also.

thank yall very much but sorrys arent necessary . life isnt all neat little packages is it shshs..all i can say is no matter how much you think your ready to deal with somthing like that the fact is your not. and we all have them days like that burning in our brains . sometimes its good to talk about things like that . what bothers me more than anything is reading how so many people here or so ashamed of there skin and the pain they go thro dealing with that shame . i wish they didnt do that and could deal with it the way some of other do.
oh he didnt make it but a few months, he died when she did in spirit.it just took a few months for his body to die too. he went into a retirment home and he was scared to death and woudnt leave his appartment and i said look pops theres a piano in the sun room and im dieing to play it walk down there and lets go . so he said ok so we go in there and i sit down and start wailing on the piano and he says son i didnt know you knew how to play music.i had been trying to lean music since i was 6 and that was the first time he had ever head me play.lol didnt have the heart to say you old s.o.b.if you would have taken a interest in me you would have known that years ago .lol
losing a mom is hard . you get your education at home and a smart mom teaches more then any school could ever begin to teach.losing a child has to be the most horrific thing a person could have to go through.i cant even imagine the pain involved in that.
I lost my mom in July and the pain is just incredible. I wish you peace.

I'm so sorry. I can't imagine loosing my spouse or a child. I've lost my sisters and my dad. And I've screamed at the top of my lungs until I couldn't speak. And like your dad, I walked around like a zombie until my soul returned, but never quite healed.
Thank you for sharing that with us. I hope that hearing the stories from others makes you feel better, knowing that you are not alone in your sorrow.
