Question:
what would be some thing that you would wont or would give. i want to get robin some thing differnt. but don't know what. i was thinking a vermont teddie bear. that sounds dumb. im confused :confused: :confused:

get her several little things or one nice gift. and get some sticky note paper and make little clues and stick them under the last clue found. she will have a ball just looking for her gift.lol
example
the first clue could be somthing like
brrrrrrr and when she finds that in the fredge you have the next clue there like .. your getting warmer but dont burn it . and put the next clue under the toaster . you get the idea. do 8 or 10 clues if ya do more then that she will tell you where to put the other clues lol
cant go wrong with perfume are longera(missspelled fancy draws )

You could do both - get a teddy bear and have her hunt for it! I collect the Boyd's Bears, similar to the Vermont but a bit more "country".
Whatever you decide, I think what's important (to me, at least) is that you took the time to think about it, and you get something she wouldn't go out and buy for herself. Do NOT buy her a new vacuum cleaner, even if that's what she says she wants!! :p The "surprise factor" is good too. We just celebrated our 20th anniversary, and my DH got me a 3 diamond necklace, the ones that are so popular now. TOTAL surprise! That means so much to me.
A gift Certificate for a facial or massage or a day of beauty at a spa.
The ladies usually love that kind of thing!

If Robin likes teddy bears I don't think that sounds like a dumb idea. I would love something like that. As long as it comes from the heart you can't go wrong. At least you care enough to think ahead and get her something. I've been with my boyfriend for 14 years and he always seems to forget. It's so sad. It makes me feel that he doesn't care.

I'm glad I'm not alone when it comes to this stuff. Sometimes I think there's something wrong with me. It's so bad that if my 12 year old daughter wouldn't have made him go shopping for me, I probably wouldn't have gotten anything for Christmas. I did get what I wanted. I circled things in the sale papers so she would know what I wanted. She is a GREAT kid.

cinnamon hearts,
chocolate bear.
I would love something silver.
A silver or gold heart pendant
on a chain or
a bracelet,
or an anklet.
Little bear ornaments,
the possibilities are endless.
It will be special because you took the time
to give her something from your heart.

Rich, whatever you decide, please add some kind of CHOCOLATE! I even got a bear holding a ruby ring once. I didn't even see it at first...what a surprise! Or he/she could be holding a bracelet or earrings.
Valentines Day has always meant a box of chocolates and a wonderful sweet card from my dh. Nowadays it is sugar free but still CHOCOLATE.
I just know she will be thrilled with what ever you pick!
