I remember reading here about that tool (brush thing) used to apply medication in our back , where we can't reach with our hands .
there is a catalog where we can order from . I don't remember the name .
Or what is the name of that thing , so i can check on line ?

Actually, you might find a spatula that you could use. A plastic, narrow one, right from the kitchen. I use a small one to put med on my feet. I can't stand to touch the icky,sticky stuff with my fingers.

But those pads are spongy .. There is one , that doesn't absorb the ointment . Good exclusively for medication .
I think we can find at "vermont country store ", something like this. But , i can't see in their catalog .

Exactly what I was going to say! Or a very helpful neighbor. My wife, prior to my remission would hit my back at least 2X per day.
I started making a big issue at my derms about the nurses not putting the stuff on my back when I went in for light treatment. The docs told them to do it and they did and everything was fine.
I can't believe it,,,that was the first thing that come to my mind,,,when I read this I was going to say it,,,,lol,,,maybe that's how our married minds think!!!!!!! :D
BTW,,,YOU MIGHT WANT TO STOP IN THE TEA HOUSE,, SURELY SOMEONE WILL HELP YOU OUT!!!! ;) THERE IS A LITTLE CUTEY FROM TEXAS,,,WE CALL HER MISS CAT,,,A VERY FINE YOUNG LADY,,

But , i don't have one .
I have a cat . but he just likes to be rubbed . he can't do it the same .
i don't like to depend on others either , especially to touch my psoriasis .
i think the lotion applicator came very handy ....

Vini, I have some suggestions that may or may not help:
1. dislocate your shoulder in order to reach (this is what I do)
2. put lotion all over the kitchen floor and roll around in it for a while
3. apply lotion to some saran wrap, then 'dry' your back like with a towel
ok, seriously, don't listen to me... I'm a crazy man :) :)
Go with the long reach lotion applicator thingy that looks like a toilet bowl brush :D
