Laura posted on another thread where she might not have been noticed. I thought it would be nice if we could let her know that we recognise her presence here and are anxious to hear more from her in the future?

Welcome to the Board! :cool: Nice to meet you. You've come to a very special place. As you can see, a lot of nice and helpful people post here. More important, it's great to FINALLY be able to ask questions, vent, exchange info, or even share some laughs with people who truly understand.
I see from your introduction to us that you're from New York City. We're practically neighbors. I live in Hoboken. My father's family has been here for three generations. There's a group of us from the tri-state area that get together socially from time to time. We're getting together on Saturday, February 26th, at a Houlihan's in Weehawken, NJ. It's located literally at the entrance to the Lincoln Tunnel and it's easy to get to via bus from the Port Authority or via Path from Hoboken. Here's a link to the thread with the details: .
