Question:

It's a good time to stay home, take a nice warm bath and moisturize.
Here's my local forecast from www.weather.com:
I love snow and stranded in the house,,,,yes,,,yes,,,and lots of food!!!!!!!!! Add a good book and some hot chocolate and you actually have the makings for a very nice way to spend a stormy afternoon.
It's just starting to snow here in Southeastern Connecticut. Oh boy - here it comes.
Love it love it -- gots plenty of food, booze and movies . . . yahoo!!

Well, so far- our Airline has CX (thats cancelled) 80 East Coast flights to anywhere in NY, FL, IAD and BOS area.
I read that by the time this storm is over, it will have affected a whopping 20 states!!
It looks like its gonna be a monster of a storm. I cant wait to get to work today (an extra shift).
Its very hard to get people out here to undertand bad weather back East. -Most especially because its sunny and 72 in Southern Cal here today.
Mike- have a cup of hot cocoa for me???
Suggle down guys- it looks like its gonna be a heck of a storm. Please everyone stay safe!!

The snow here started over an hour ago. Came down very slowly at first. Turned to larger flakes. Flakes are small now (big snow = little snow, little snow = big snow), steadier and sometimes with a little wind. The wind keeps changing direction. You can just tell it's going to be BIG!!!!!
Glad it isn't during the work week for the majority of people. Feeling sorry and worried for those who have to be somewhere. I pray everyone is safe and warm.
I don't want to jinx myself but our power lines. etc. are underground and for the most part we don't lose power.

Weather report------
24 degrees
slow drizzle-continuing through tonight-few snow flurries
icy streets
TV cable out----bummer :(
If you are at home----stay there.
This kind of weather is very dangerous if you don't use common sense.
Get the pets in and let them sleep on the foot of your bed---good foot warmers!!!!!!!!!! :)
Sending prayers to all of you affected by this storm, that the power stays on or you have an alternative source of heat and light. And I'm sending ANDY PANDA to play with you when the wind and snow stop
Oh Katie!
Thats bad news! We were all asking about you last night.
Stay IN and just relax. Take some time for yourself and your skin.
I hope you and Rob can get together VERY soon!

It's currently 19 degrees here in the Milwaukee area...last night was our big snowing...about 10+ inches I believe. I had to work until about quarter after 8 and drive home in it and then be back at work this morning at 9 to work again and there was literally almost 2 feet of snow on my poor little car. It's a good thing I backed in last night, I had to ram out of the court I live in because they never plow it till the everything else is done! Fortunately my little Mitsu is a rock in the snow (never would've thought so!) and I was a little late to work but I made it there without even sliding at all. I CANNOT believe though, that there were kids there waiting for me when I got there! Wouldn't you want to keep your kids in on a day like this?!? I still can't believe they didn't cancel classes, most everything else was closed here this morning! Total expected accumulation is around 12-14 inches I think, but with all the blowing wind, it seems like a lot more! Stay safe everyone :)
mari

I was just watching the weather channel, they were showing the very few people in NY city weathering the storm on the city sidewalks..............I swear that I saw you Mike giving a tour!! :) You never stop do you??????????????? :D
were getting dumped on now and mike wath are you doing of side. it's to cold for tours.
A pic. of our house in Colorado-2001-this was just a "little" snow.
