Fight the P bracelet information
Question:

4 Attachment(s) Just received preliminary information on the bracelets. In order to produce them affordable, i.e. $2.00 ea. plus s/h on ebay, we will most likely need to go with the printed ones. I am putting examples of both the printed ones and the embossed ones. There is a minimum 500 order so I will need to talk it over with the rest of our group next saturday, but in the meantime give me some ideas for color. Not sure of the color or color printing options yet, but some ideas would be helpful. The ones that say bulldogs are printed, the others are embossed or "debossed" as they say, dug into the silicone.

Answers:

1 Attachment(s) I must have put to many files up at once. Add "fight the P" and change the color.

Answers:

1 Attachment(s) That they are easier to read. The debossed ones, like my U of M one, are difficult to read from a distance.

Hey Brad!
Thanks so much for your hard work with the bracelets... i cant wait to have me and my friends wearing them!
I agree with you, the printed ones are easier to read... ALTHOUGH i do recall a little while back my sister had a printed bracelet like those, and the printing started to wear off... Does the company have any sort of warranty or guarantee or anything on them?! Just curious..
My suggestions for colors would be ... if it could be marble colors... the npf colors-- that'd be cool!
Cmon guys, bring in the suggestions!

I definitely like the printed ones better and I agree with Kim about the colors.

Well KJ, my answer to that is if the printing starts coming off after a while then it is time to throw it away and buy another....actually the embossed ones have a minimum 1000 order and by the time we bought them all of our money for the book would be gone.
So, someday if it gets bigger we can revisit the embossed ones. In the meantime I think these will have to do. Projected price to the consumer......$2.00 ea.

I like the blue bulldog one...shows up great!!! You can hardly read the other ones...just my 2 cents...

Answers:

I like the idea of the embossed better. I'd be willing to pay more than $2 also. Heck - I spend at least $7 a day on lunch - I could at least pay $4 for a bracelet to support something I really believe in! I do like the idea of the NPF colors (that would be blue/orange, right?). Either that or Hunter Green/ Purple. Or Grey/Burgundy. Or Grey/Blue (first color being the bracelet/second being lettering)
If we did the embossed ones I would say grey or blue.

I agree print wears off. And I love purple.!!!

I agree with MrsPriz... i would be more than willing to pay the extra amount, although-- i believe Brad mentioned that then we would have to order 1000, which probably wouldnt be the best idea...

Answers:

The printed ones are easier to read, but I like embossed better too. I'd also be willing to pay the extra amount. Also, if it would help, maybe we could order the 1000 and some people (like me) could volunteer to buy a bulk amount and try to distribute them somehow in our different areas. It'd be a pretty big commitment but think of how much more area we could cover considering how all of us are from different areas of the US and beyond. Anyone else be interested in doing this? We could still give the profits back to the book and maybe help bring in a bigger profit? Just a thought.

I also would be willing to pay more money for the braclet rather then the printed one... I had one printed before and it wore off in 2 weeks... I have a breast cancer one and a Lance Armstrong one that are ther other way and I LOVE them... I wear them ALL the time!!!!

Answers:

I will try to get some comparables somewhere else and revisit this when we have our meeting next weekend.
Please PM if you are individually willing to do some preordering to help cut down the cost. I will give those who want bulk a price break as well.

Meeting on Saturday with the support group, will discuss it then. I am really afraid that for our first batch the expensive ones, 1000 min order, will be too much money to spend. I have no authority by myself to dispense that kind of money, we don't have a ton to begin with but our mission is to publish the book at this point, we are well on our way and do not want to get overly sidetracked. I'm sure we will come to a concensus at the meeting and will let you know. In the meantime, pins are in and going fast, thank you everyone for your orders. Please wear them proudly.
