I'm starting to feel much better now, still unable to sit or stand too long & am able to try & catch up on some of the postings. Wow, there's an awful lot to catch up on but I've had enough of this bed stuff & I sure have and am missing my extended family an awful lot...Am going crazy (no remarks please).I want to share this with you as I think it's apropo. Will attempt to write again later or tomorrow.... Luvs ya all..... Thanks for all your prayers!!!

Drinking from my Saucer
I've never made a fortune, and it's probably too late now.
But I don't worry about that much, I'm happy anyhow.
And as I go along life's way,
I'm reaping better than I sowed.
I'm drinking from my saucer,
'Cause my cup has overflowed.
Haven't got a lot of riches,
and sometimes the going's tough.
But I've got loving ones all around me,
and that makes me rich enough.
I thank God for his blessings,
and the mercies He's bestowed.

I remember times when things went wrong,
My faith wore somewhat thin.
But all at once the dark clouds broke,
and the sun peeped through again.
So Lord, help me not to gripe,
about the tough rows I have hoed.

If God gives me strength and courage,
When the way grows steep and rough.
I'll not ask for other blessings,
I'm already blessed enough.
And may I never be too busy,
to help others bear their loads.
Then I'll keep drinking from my saucer,

When I think of how many people
in this world have it worse than I do.
I realize just how lucky most of us really are.

Hello darlin' Pammy,,, That's what I'm finding out, I'm so so pleased as I luv them all also... BTW, the picture of the puppy is a Cairn Terrier & that's what My little one that passed away was. If this one was "salt & pepper" in color, it would be my buddy. In case anyone wonders what kind of a dog a "Cairn Terrier" is, in the movie of The Wizard of Oz Judy Garland's dog was TOTO & that's what this one. In my photo that was posted 8/28/03, I was holding her. I sure thank you Pam for that picture & concern.

No, I didn't know, but I too had that dog!!!! In fact just recently when I was out of town, the family had to put her down and they did it while I was gone, thinking it would be better for me. :( I miss my Maddie.

Would you believe that machine that they got me on spit in my left eye tonight,woke me up by doing it & haven't been able to go back to bed since 1:30 this morning. Grrrrrrrrr I've been trying to learn how to use the size, color on words to no avail. I just know how to do the Bold thing. Very aggravating. I've been told how, but everyone's different. :) :) :)
