Are a useful 1st Amendment tool, allowing the voice of average Americans to be heard.
Are a circumvention of McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance Law, relative to "soft money" and need scrutiny and regulation.
Are slanderous propoganda tools and should be banned.

Why do the three of you always suck me in on these things? Some of the contributors to these 527's are ligit and have substantial issues. However, the big contributors are big business with their own agendas. Had to vote to vote for scrutiny and regulation.
The sound of no cursors clicking is deafening. A primer on 527s could be had from einna, misales or Rich J. Is'nt it AMAZING how wrong you can be sometimes? And to think I was actually looking forward to seeing some stimulating debate generated by this timely poll. Not the first time I"VE been wrong, won't be the last either. I heard that DEB!

Well Robi, it looks like 1/2 of us agree with the president. I would like to change my vote to (d) free speech, less government.
i tough that when you voted nobody knew who you vote for. if i can remeber i think i did vote on this post. even though i didn't under stand it. and didn't post a reaply until my name was menchined.
