Question:
Do you make New Year's Resolutions??? Is there anything that you would want to give up or improve upon??? Have you ever stuck to them once you do???
For me... I'd like to get in better shape. Maybe, I can watch my diet a little better. I probably can stand to lose about 10 lbs.

No, I don't make any. I either forget them or can't live by them.
I just take one day at a time and try to do the best I can.

I make them and usually stick to them for a short while. This year it is definitely to take better care of myself phyiscally!!
I'm still working on smoking,,,it's better than nothing,,,and my neighbor sent over 2 cartons and a box of candy!!!!!

This year, I'm going to try to take better care of myself, ie, eat better, lose weight. I'm also going to find a new pcp, derm & rheumy.
I HAVE to start exercising...I don't need to lose weight, just build muscle tone and work on cardiovascular health.

My goal for 2005 is to loose 50lbs, and to stop swearing. But notice I said goal, so...god help me not like chocolate and McDonalds!

New Years resolutions are a waste of time. If people are serious about anything they say they're going to do, then they need to relate it something else. I, personally, make birthday resolutions. I say, ok, I'm turning ___ it's about time I quit f'n around and [fill in resolution here]. Will power is what takes over then... and I've got plenty of it. If you don't, then don't even bother with the resolutions in the first place 'cause you're just wasting your time and will only end up disappointing yourself anyway.
So far I've lost 50lbs, quit smoking, and gotten my P & PA under control... Well, that was 3 years ago... where am I now? Still don't smoke, bod is toned (losing weight turned into keeping it off and going further with it), and my P & PA are still under control.
This year I think I'm going to teach myself how to speak Italian and start mountain biking again.... not resolutions, just things to keep me busy.

My youngest daughter swears the best way to communicate with me is email me! LOL!!! :D
I need to go back to the gym and work out again. Plus I have to stop eating fast food nearly every day.
And if I fail on ths resolution, then screw it! I tried! :D
after all the partying and hosting we do from thanksgiving thru new years, my husband and i usually try to quit drinking. we lasted 3 weeks last year!! but i make no resolutions nor promises either.

1) Be more organized
2) Start Christmas preparations earlier
