Question:
Found out about this Soap Lake from some people in the chat room. It is meant to have similar healing qualities to the Dead Sea in Israel. I have been to the Dead Sea and was totally cleared of P. Of course though it has come back. I am interested to hear if anyone has been to Soap Lake and what results they had if any. Or if anyone has been to the Dead Sea let me know! ...
I've read a lot about it and thought about going. I think it is up in the northwestern portion of the usa, probably within driving distance of Portland...NPF HQ.
If you can find something to heal you naturally, what a bargain!
Hi and welcome, Lucie.
Although I haven't been there, I do live in WA, so there's a good chance I'd be interested in a trip there at some point. Our support group even talked about an outing there with the Seattle area support group last summer, but we never got it organized. If you are interested in planning a trip, let me know, and I'll see what I can do to help get it together. :)
Hi LucieLu,
Welcome to the Board! Nice to meet you. About a year or so ago, another poster, Sooner_Rog, mentioned that he was going to try to go to Soap Lake. Here's the links to the threads where he discusses it:

Unfortunately, he hasn't posted in a very long time, so we don't know if he made the trip.
I hope this helps.
Good luck. Keep us posted and please don't be a stranger.
Mike
There is a poster here called Gumbygirl who goes to the Dead Sea. Here is one of her threads:
From what I've heard is that you don't even need to go to the lake to get the water, they pump it into the hotels bath. Now the other thing that i've heard is that it is not like some big tourist attraction, it is still very small and from my research it's not like there is a huge line of cars heading there so you can probably visit it for a reasonable price.
I also once had a derm that I saw on behalf of an insurance grievance tell me that (the quote will at least be close) "We know that if we put a psoriasis patient in a hospital setting, the psoriasis will get better". Part of that quote meant, stress free...no work, etc...
Now I've also had read a lot of those who go to the dead sea say that they spend a little time in the water itself, they seem to hint that the sun is what puts their P into remission....they all use oil too during their treatment.
I've been put into plaque remission with uvb bulbs, so I know that UVB can work.
It seems to me that Soap Lake might be a nice place to take a vacation, if you get healing it would be a bonus. A lot of us spend a lot more money on a vacation to disney, new york, you name it. I don't think it's a rip off. Might not work but don't hurt to try.
