Question:
Had an athroscopy of my left knee and it turned out I had two tears which the ortho said was bad and some nasty inflammation due to the tears...but, I do not have pa in the knee just osteo consistent with my age. Also, I am healing quite well and pretty fast and I should return to work and normal activites as long as I do not swell bad in about two weeks time.
I am so glad that this is over with because I had serious doubt that I would go through with it. Since I did go through with it now he was able to save a lot of the meniscus so I still have more cushioning left than if had waited longer.

That great news Marie. Hopefully a complete recovery. You should be complete healed by the time of our next party. LOL

To further encourage you, I had a scope several years ago with some futher advanced disease than yours (cuz you're just a little cupcake compared to me, XO) and I have had such wonderful results. Within 6 months you are going to think that you have a new knee. Trust me!!

thats great news hun! im so glad its not PA, and i am pretty sure people on the boards who do have PA would be glad for u too. P alone is already so much to deal with, then getting PA at the same time, i can only imagine. I love hearing news that someone is getting better, or has one less illness, etc, etc, cause god know how precious our health is. so....i'm gad its not PA and I wish you a speedy recovery, good luck-luv babz :D
