Question:
Hi everyone I found a forum over in HEALTH TALK where they have a section on psoriasis....as well as other health conditions....sponsored by a pharmaceutical company...(but still a nice group of people) LOL...in the psoriasis area they have also broken it down to diff. categories....and guess where I went....yep "the alternatives"...I was telling them about the book and Charley, the moderator, suggested contacting the DNA (dermatology nurses assoc) I think thats the name.....she belongs to it ,When we are ready for distribution.......

Yes, I run around everywhere. :) That site is fairly new and not as active as this one, but there is a lot there. So far, everyone is really nice and the nurse "Charlie" is a female. She will answer questions. They do have moderators.

I think that might be Charlie from Florida. I met her in San Diego briefly and was really impressed with her. She is such a nice lady and I think maybe one of the only RN's (P-RNS) that were there that I noticed.
Sally, I don't think I have time to visit anywhere else let alone keep it up on here. But, this is good. I hope that you will get a chance to meet Charlie in Boston. I was very impressed with her and I think you will like her too.
I know that she has been very active with the support groups in Florida and does a lot down there.
It is Charlie from Florida. She is the nurse in HealthTalk's "Ask the Nurse" section. She is the leader of the group I am in. We kind of co-lead together. I help her out with things. She also happens to be the nurse at the derm office I go to. That's where I met her. She is very knowledgable about P and is a great person in general.
I've posted a couple of times to the HealthTalk boards. It's not as visited as these boards and I've enjoyed myself more and received more information here. However, there is potential for their boards. The more sources of information for us the better!!!

Chiam- LOL!! You are funny. :p Charlie knows that I cherish her. :D She is the most wonderful person (and derm nurse). She is the one that motivated me to get involved with the NPF. Her sessions on HealthTalk are great as well. I, by no means, meant that the other forum wasn't nice. It's just newer and there's not as many people involved there yet. I still check in on their boards, just not as often as here.
