Question:
Hi everyone :)
Back from England where I was reunited with my DH after 3 months! It was a wonderful time and a GREAT vacation!!!...we saw lots of interesting things like the Big Ben, Tower of London, artwork in museums, Buckingham Palace "Q-tip men" ;) etc etc, that I would of never dreamed I'd see in person. We saw several shows including The Producers with Nathan Lane!, and By the Bog of Cats with Holly Hunter ...and I met her after the show!
We even renewed our wedding vows in Westminster Abbey! We loved our time together there but it's good to be back home in our routine.. together again! and Jeff (the beagle) is here too and happy we are both back.
I'm looking forward to catching up with you all and reading the threads

Thanks for the warm welcome back!! i did think about the NPF boards while I was there and feeling frustrated about my p. especially..(had a bit of a flare while i was there) and knowing i have friends that understand.
Another highlight of the trip was my good friend visiting us from Dublin, Ireland. She was able to stay for 3 days. One night we were in Trafalgar Square and I dared her to try to get up on one of the lions. I had tried a couple days prior and couldn't do it. They are really high up, on cement bases...and although LOTS of people climb up to them and it looks like it SHOULD be easy to climb.. it's NOT as easy as it looks.
So, she tried, and tried...and couldn't do it either. I offered to clasp my hands together and for her to use it as a step... we were CRACKING up. I'm trying to hold up the weight of her with my hands as she climbed up ...and she made it!!!
Once she was up there she leaned over (dangerous!) and grabbed my arm and pulled and pulled to help me get up (by this point we are dying laughing) I finally make it up and we collapsed cracking up but also SO proud we made it, it was like we had just cleared Mt. Everest.. but it was just a cement block. It was hilariuos, and we were so happy. The trip down was also tricky, and funny...but DH helped us down by telling us where to place our feet, etc... it's really scary, but i recommend trying if you're ever in Trafalgar Square!

Wow Denise...love the pictures (and the hats) you have such great bone structure in your face....we never get to see close ups of you...that was great.....
(whine) I wanna go to the British Isles!.....DH's mom, dad and sister came from Scotland...but he was born here...hoot mon! My family came from Scotland and Wales....but I would rather go in the warmer weather...... :D
