I found it out, the cure for my P/PA. I have identified a major trigger! For years I was under the delusion that my P/PA got worse during the autumn and winter because of the drier air here in the Northeast. However, like a bolt out of the blue it hit me yesterday, my autumn flare has NOTHING to do with the weather but I know what it is. It is rooting for the NFL's Giants!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, the G-men are a p trigger. The Giants have an annoying habit of playing to the level of their competition! Therefore, they tend to let inferior teams hang around and beat them or they squeak out nailbiter wins. They can never have the decency to simply get blown out so I can realise the game is over early. No, they need to stay in the game to the very end make me agonise over every play. They will drive down the field keeping me involved vainly hoping they can somehow snatch vistory from the jaws of defeat. Then as rays of hope begin to shine in my head, they slam the door of defeat shut ending all hope!
At my home, in addition to setting out the chips, dip and beer for guests to watch the game I need to get out the atarax, cetphil and dovonex for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Therefore, I need to stop rooting for the Giants and my P/PA will be cured. ;) This is a theory that I bet MikeK will agree with

I thought the same thing about the loser Bears, which is why i stopped rooting for them!! It doesn't work!! there will be other teams that will drive you nuts..........(my beloved CUBS........)

Atarax isn't strong enough to deal the itch that results from New York Giants related flares! I've known for a long time that they cause my p to flare. :eek: I keep telling myself that I should put them on my "ignore list" but every Sunday I come back for more tourture! :rolleyes:
