Collect Questions

I got a letter last night letting me know that my Derm who I have been going to for 8 years is leaving the practice and I AM STRESSED!!!!! I never considered her to leave or even thought about it!!!! i dont know what I am going to do.... i dont trust ALOT of drs especially derms seeing as though most of them are cosmetic derms!!!!! What do I do now... Im sure someone will be taking her place but I doubt that they will be as compasionate and as caring as she is?? I am going to go see my derm on Thursday and cry my eyes out as my P and PA are the worse it has ever been?? Is Enbrel NOT going to work for me this time??? Has my body got immuned to it since I started then stopped and then started again??? Am I going to have to get Married in a long sleeve dress with a turtle neck underneath and in sneakers........ I AM A MESS and I HATE falling into a depression but THATS where I AM headed...... Sorry everyone I just needed to vent a little

Hi Katie, that stinks...does the letter say if she's leaving to join another group? Maybe you could see her at another location....I hope it works out, there's nothing worse then having to find new doctors after you've been happy with the ones you have....


I know it's hard not to stress but look at it this way....you're going to have to find a doc when you move to (N)? (S)? Carolina right? so anything you find in the interim might be a blessing in disguise....who knows what destiny lies around the next corner (or derm)

Hey Katie. So Sorry to hear about your doctor leaving. Hopefully you will find another one soon. After all you will be moving after your married and will need to finda another one in Ga or where ever.
Annie had a good sugestion, she said she will hook you up with her derm. Hang in there things will get better. If you need to chat just call.
One thing that may help is a road trip to Mohengan. Let me know when and where I'll be there!

Thanks everyone.....I went to my Rheumy today and poured my heart out to him DONT KNOW WHY BECAUSE he HAS NO HEART!!!!!! I hate doctors that just say yup uh huh hmmmm and then walk out and hand u a prescription with No explination or no answers to any questions,,,, Oh well I actually feel better today and tomorrow I go see my Derm but I am not worried about it because I talked to my nurse there today and she calmed me down....... Your posts have Lifted my sprits ONCE again and I dont know what I would do without you guys!!!!!!!
