in the Air Force we called that BOHICA Rich.
Rich,,,just pay them 5.00 a month,,,the hell with it!!!! lol
It's pretty much the same story everywhere. Employers are paying more for insurance, and we end up paying more out of pocket for things like office visits, meds, etc...I hate HMOs, Some of the best doctors I ever had, I had to give up cause they weren't in my plan and I couldn't afford to go to them if they were "out of network".
Rich one thing about employers.....Every person or company I have ever worked for...They look out for themselves first....we're just the little peons. Robin's probably right, it would cost the attorneys a lot of money to keep the same insurance. 22%...That's 22 cents more on every dollar they were paying for insurance. That might be equal to one person's salary. I'd have to sit and play with the math. They won't give up their standard of living, What would the people at the Country Club think!! So many places don't even offer insurance anymore cause they can't afford it. One thing to think about, the attorneys probably have the same insurance as you and Robin, everyone who works at the firm should have the same coverage, so if your insurance stinks their insurance will stink also....
I keep telling my doctor, if/when I die I want Health Care in The US as cause of death.....
Rich, our city just recently ratified a number of employment contracts that included fixed copays of health insurance premiums. If my memory is correct I think it is $0 for year one...$600/yr for year two...$1200/yr for year three. So you are not alone out there. Cost of medicine is a real issue here as well as all the other fees associated.
BOHICA: Bend Over Here It Comes Again.
thank you all
i know im not along with ins. there are people in this country with none. i just think it a joke when the employer gives the employe the shalf and the employe is just a write off. it nice to give your self a big boneus and say we are not making enough money. it just made me mad that robin was on there side and not mine. what eles is new. this is the frist time i had ins worth some thing and now im going to lose alot. i just hope they can sleep at night noing they don't care about there employes. a employe is a tax write off. they need to know that. thank you all for lisen to me. i just needed to vent
