Question:
I have been posting a lot about ebay and some activities our support group and a number of you have been involved in, both directly, and indirectly to make Joe and Sallys Psoriasourus kids book a reality.
This week our group has sold 8 of the 10 psoriasis awareness pins that Sally sent along with me. It is a good thing, I had to pm Pat (merkinsmom) who originally set up the whole pin deal to get some more to sell and ask for her help in continuing the pin production process if business continues to be brisk.
Anyway, In my PM to pat I mentioned Sally's donation of the flugel horn which has raised a whopping $1000.00 for the books publication. Last Saturday I had a long talk with Sally about the horn and how the sale would proceed. I then held the horn for a few days to try to start the auction on a thursday. On weds I pm'ed Sally and once again asked her if she was sure she wanted to sell the horn....Let me tell you from my experience on Ebay that this horn was like money in the bank for her..no doubt I knew it would sell for high $$$$. Sally could have sold this horn that was her sole property on her own or with the assistance of someone to help herself with bills, a new car, a nice vacation...you name it. Sally demanded that I sell it for the book project and that she did not want the horn back.
Ladies and gentleman, $1000.00 is a lot of money....please thank Sally for her unselfish donation to our cause, especially since it is for the kids. PM her to death if you want because she just made a huge contribution, asked for no credit, and truely did it out of her own heart.
I see a lot of good things happening out of these boards. KJ's appearance on the news, a lot of meetings in the east, west, midwest, south...things are happening and it is because of All of you! In addition, a lot of us, including myself, have gotten priceless help for our condition due to the support here.

Sally, What a wonderful, wonderful thing you have done. Inspirational and so selflesss. I think you are amazing for offering your horn as you did.
