Have you ever been in chat and attempted to whisper to someone, but instead either whispered it to the wrong person, or it was not whispered at all so everyone can see the message?
This is now called a blargh.

It wasn't embarassing, just info I would have rather stayed in a whisper.

PS - I have been trying to figure out how to whisper in chat for months. Considering the horrifying possibility of this electronic faux pas, I think i'll stay ignorant.

Happened to me countless times!! I usually just call it Mother [explicit] [explicit] [explicit] Whispering........ followed by a "DOH" which go figured is whispered!!! LOL
Blargh is much easier to say and nicer!! LOL

I can't decide which is worse ... saying something that was meant as a whisper or wispering something to the wrong person. :o :eek: :o :eek:

Or even "worser" than a blargh........someone whispers a question to you and not knowing what "whispers" means (at the time) answers :eek: the question to the whole chat room.........duh Pam!!!!!


or how about when your typing a whisper to someone and you hit sent and then you realize that someone just popped in chat..... your whisper goes to the person above...... THAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME PLENTY>>>>>>> AND ROB TOO while having "GUY TALK"

how do you whisper? Type in your message. Use your mouse to scroll through the user names, which are on the right. Highlight the user name of your choice. Hit enter. That's all there is to it. BEWARE OF BLARGH! :eek: :o

You have to highlight the users name everytime you want to whisper, otherwise you will be blarghing all over the place!

it would be embarrasing if you whisper something that no one can't hear .
Kind of dangerous .
One day , i was whispering something between me and one person .
Another person who was in the room felt offended not to be in the conversation and left the room .
she didn't have an understanding attitude by taking it personal.
We had a fight after that .
Not NPF , it was something else.
From now on i don't whisper anymore :(
