Note from the Psoriasis Foundation Member Services Coordinator:
Hi, Sue!
That's a good question. We try to move around the United States as much as we can, but we also have to keep in mind the places where we are likely to reach the most people.
However, I am passing your comments along to the powers that be, and we'll see what happens in the future.
Sincerely,

Bumping this tread to the top of the list. NPF held two community meetings in New York this weekend. One at Mt. Siani Hospital in Manhattan and the other at Fordum University in the Bronx.
As usual NPF did a great job of putting together knowledgeable speakers. They made good presentations and they took the time to answer many questions. AReal thank you for a great job to both Kelly Coastes and Eve Maridy Rice from the NPF home office.
The next community meeting is this saturday in Phoenix, AZ on the campus of ASU. Check the link above to get more information. It is worth the trip!
Thanks to NPF for a job well done and our money well spent!

Mitch I could not agree more. I thought I knew a lot about p and pa but attending those meetings helped me learn even more. Reading about p and pa is one thing but attending one of those community meetings is another. Being able to listen to the speakers (both Dr. Bagel and Dr. Spiera did an excellent job at the Mt. Sinai meeting), and to the audience ask their questions, really brings the subject to life. I feel I have a better understanding of the disease now.
I encourage everyone if they have the opportunity to attend one of those meetings - GO FOR IT!
Marie
