I called in sick to work today.
Today, my life is on hold.
I am going to the fabric store to stich a black flag to hang from my home.
I am also stiching black armbands.
This is not a celebratory day for me.
Today, I mourn.

For every person on the planes that were devistated on 9/11, were in the trade centers on 9/11....unfortunately a number of them were brothers in law enforcement and fire rescue..., and for all that were in the fateful location of the Pentagon.
I once was called to a burglary of a business that was conducted by a digruntled employee. I found a pipe bomb in a bathroom. When you walk up on one of those, it really makes you think about what is important in life.

news to me, and I only live about 3 hrs. from windsor. Windsor, by the way, to me is a really cool city. Liberal with freedoms but yet safe and clean. Not sure if i would want to live there however.
It is kinda funny how it's usually the Americans that feel bad for the Canadians...probably still mostly that way.

You know, did anyone ever go to history class and listen? Michael Jackson would like you all to believe that "we are the world". We are not the world, this is America. If you want nude public beaches you may go to europe, if you want free health care you may go to Canada, if you want to smoke refer you may go to the Netherlands, if you want a job we lost here....go to Mexico...however, you won't get big union wages.
If you want freedom in a democratic generous free market society that allows you to practice religion freely, guarantees children an education (if they don't quit on their own first) and vote for your representatives stay here.
Don't tread on us..............terrorism did just that and I'm glad were doing something about it.

Wow. Did anyone hear of the legislative and judiciary branches? You know this isn't a dictatorship. They work for us don't forget.
Plus, freewill was given to us by God - don't think that just because the puppet is still in control that you can't make decisions and choices for yourself.

I since most of you guys are from the north and Great Lakes area? Well, I am from Virginia and I am proud that Bush won. At 23 I have voted both times for Bush. I have no regrets. Virginia has one of the largest military population if not the largest on the East Coast. I think that is why we voted for Bush. Our Troops are in his hands and we trust him. Hopefully, in the months to come we will be United as One like we were right after 9/11.

Granny, please thank your husband tonight for his service. 6 year MI ANG USAF SP, Gulf 1 veteran. Nothing like seeing that Jet light up on the ramp and go straight up on take off. Our Military is the best and we should all be proud of them as they are protecting us.

and now a scary amount of my friends are in iraq, on their own.
so i think we're all united [no matter what party] in saying GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS. whether you support or oppose the war, give your whole heart to our brave soldiers, please.

there's a lot going on that the news doesn't tell us, that the people don't know.
there are also many sources you can get more of the truth [independent media sites/even other countries news]
