Question:
Hello all,
I'm 33yr old native of Chicago who is currently living and working in Athens, Greece. I've had P since 21. I've been living in Athens for about 15 months now. I'm a musician, performing at least 4 or 5 nites a week with local pop-stars which makes hiding/controling my P a bit of a challenge(and necessary).
Currently, I'm using topicals, plenty of trips to the Sea(or sea salt baths at home), and lots and lots o' sun! In the winter (which is very mild here) I use tanning beds; definitely helped.
I recently went to see a derm. here and he recommended Puva until the winter, at which time he wants to put me on Neorel. I've never heard of the stuff, and was wondering if it might be the Euro name for Soriataine or Enbrel(both of which I learned about on this site, they sound great!!). According to the derm. Neorel will make me a little 'photo-sensitive'.
Also, I coming home Aug 14-Sept5(Yeah! haven't been home since November of '03) and was wondering if I could get a derm. there to prescribe soriatane or enbrel and have a derm. here supervise the treatment. I've had all my bloodwork done and it's come back A-OK. Any help or advice you could give would be great!
I'm so happy to have found a place to read about people's tricks and adventures with P, I don't feel alone anymore. (people in my business tend to be "perfect", so it's very easy to feel like an outsider)
Thanks again,
Spiro in Athens:cool:
