Yay! i just watched my interview about psoriasis air... which means it was ALL over edmonton! yAyyyy!!! im so excited, i hope ill start receiving emails/calls soon from people who want to join the support group!!!

Geez Kim, I thought you just posted for advice on starting a support group. Seems to me you should be the one giving it. That is a great thing that you have done. Edmonton is a big city right? Like NHL Big.

it was about 7 minutes long... with some talking from me, my mom, and the newslady! it was definately a good experience, and already now, half an hour after it was aired, im starting to receive emails! so, im super excited!!!

Hey KJ, why don't you ask the npf to see if they will buy it for there files. I'm sure that this could be used by foundation someday. Maybe they could put a video player on the site somewhere. Wouldn't hurt to ask.
you know, your support group has a budget through the npf if you signed the contract, maybe this would be a reasonable expense. I certainly would like to see it since we haven't done a new story on our project.
I think a key to your story is that you are doing this at such a young age, most individuals your age don't take on projects like yours. I think our news worthy story might be when we finally get Sally's book off the presses. I'm sure Jessie would love to talk to the news about kids and P.
Anyway, let me know if npf or your group doesn't buy it, I think thats about $35US, I might be able to come up with that. 7mins of you starting a support group is a lot better to me than an hour of howard stern on the satelite.

I agree with Brad- the NPF could do with more youngsters involved.
I would ask the NPF. There are lots of youngsters that have no clue as how to handle this disease. I do know of a young girl in New Hampshire that is trying to start a group. I'll see if I can round her up and put her in touch with you. Is that OK?
Are they going to do some follow ups? That would be good since we have National P month and World p Day.
