i went in not knowing what was wrong. chest pain and dizz. had xray of chest and ultr sound of my kidneys and all the other organs. im wereing a heart monator for 24 hrs. he said im suffering form esophagitis. acid to me. i was there for 6 hours. i have to go get nexium 20.
he thinks the meds did it. blood work to. i still feel bad. but alot better.

I am sorry Too Richard.....I bet all those kinda meds are hard on your stomach...
As for the heart monitor, unless you have had problems before, I would not worry...Some docs are overly cautious, and it is a kind of cover their butt type of thing!

Hi Rich,
Be sure you take your meds. as directed, with or without food.
Drink lots of water when you take them.
Digestive problems can resemble heart pain so it is always better to go to the doctor than not. With acid reflux it is hard to tell the difference.
Did the doc. give you suggestions about eating to help control acid reflux? There are a lot of things you can do.
I hope, by now you are feeling better.

im up now for a long nap. it's hard to keep any thing down right now. he said to take the med so i don't get a ulcer. im goping back to bed.

I fully agree gastro problems can make you think you are having a heart attack! I have refux and without meds it is very painful....
Eat lightly, and watch fat which can make heartburn much worse...

thank you all for caring about me. i just got up. i don't know how many hours i sleep but alot. i have to go back over to the hop to give them the montor back and get another ekg i guess. it thats them longer to hock it up then to do it. i have a lits of do's and don'ts. i hope no in laws annie. im hungry and getting some thing to eat. i will let you no what doc tell me. i don't feel to bad. alot better then this time yesterday. i can breath easer today.

hi all and thanks for caring.
im back from my trip back to the hop to give my monator back. they hock me up again and it was the same as yesterday. i was there for a hour. every thing is fine heart wise they said. it will take a while to get the test results back from monator. im drinking only water right now. i try to drink some soda but it burned to much. i can't get my meds till monday so they gave me the samples of the same thing. i just got back up form a nap. i feel pretty good.
i think i started feel to good form no pain so quite that i was drinking to much coffee at work and eatting to much spice food.
he said there 2 more drugs to try instead of celebrex. to ask my rhemy doc. i think. there are arthnotec and cytotec. what there are i don't no. if some one knows can you please tell me. thank you. im going to my moms to try and fix here computer so i want be here when in laws come.
i will see yous tomarrow.

Honey, I hope you are feeling better. Get some rest and try and stay away from the soda. Stick to water. What about Gaterade? Can you drink that? The carbonated stuff is proabably no good for you, I would say.
I am thinking of you and praying you feel better soon.
How are the joints doing?
