My goodness, my own name is starting to drive me CRAZY!!!
Day in and day out for the past two months I have heard my name sooooo many times, it makes me want a new one, and may i add one without so many variations!! LOL
At Work it's-- "Isabel line one...." "Bel, what are the numbers so far today?" "Isabel line two..."
At Intern it's-- "Isabella can you show me how to work the copier...again." "Isabel, can you interview this person for me, thanks" "Isabella, the copier is stuck again..."
At the Gym it's-- "C'mon Iz, only 8 more to go" "Iz, we gotta get you ready for San Diego.." (should have never told my trainer i was going!!) "Izzy come do lunges with me!" : /
At home it's-- "Bella come out." "Bella can you take me to the store" "Bel let's go play tennis."
Sheesh, I am gonna change my name, but the trick this time is i am not going to tell anyone!!! : )
Ahhh...must go, they are calling me again! : )

people like to shorten my name... bren.. bren-bren.. brennie...as long as they dont call me lynn, i dont really care oy. My initials are BK... when i was younger, i was called BRITISH KNIGHT (which i didnt mind) but then burger king came up with thier new slogan and called themselves "BK" and for like all of grade 5, people kept asking "hey BK, can i get it my way??"

This thread gives me a laugh b/c in the gym the gymnasts are always calling my name at the same time, Pam how many do we have to do?? Pam can you spot me? Pam is this right? ............ I am always telling them that I'm gonna change my name. Or I tell them that I did change my name. I completley understand Bella!! :)

I could see Bella being a difficult name to grow up with, but as an adult, it's one of the prettiest names I have ever heard.... :)
I personally dont care what people call me, as long as I know that they are talking to me.
I get called many things..... Jan, Janny, Janners, Janet Black (Don't ask!), Miss W etc....
But if people called me as much as they seem to call you Bella then I'd probably want to change my name too! I'm sure its not that hard! Lol!

Its wierd cause I say online my name is Janay since thats what my mom calls me. My family choose what they feel to call me between the two names.
When I came to this country, everybody changed my name. I was Paula (which is my middle name) in Argentina because all my sisters' first names are Maria too. But here, in my ID appear my first name (which is Maria), so all the people at work call me Maria and also my new friends. It is so funny because my husband is the only one who keep calling me Paula and when he introduce me as his wife he says: "This is Paula, my wife". And I say "I'm Maria, nice to meet you". And the people look at us and we have to explain that actually my name is Maria Paula. We are doing better now. I know that all his friends know me by Paula and my friends know me by Maria.
