Question:
Hi everyone,
Just thinking (well ...... almost gossiping... )
Did you see the bruises in Gwyneth Paltrow 's back?
This kind of air suction therapy (like acupunture).
I've never heard of that.
But anyway, She made sure to wear that dress exposing
all bruises .
I guess she wouldn't be that comfortable if it were patches of psoriasis.
:D

"Cupping" will certainly be the next BIG THING in Hollywood, following on the heels of botox injections, silicone implants, and collagen injections. Very shortly, everyone will be showing up on the red carpet with their red "cupping" marks on display. It will be a kind of "Status Symbol" to have them.
Interesting.
I read the link and it was mentioned that the bruises were "healthy". Bull. A bruise is an injury no matter how you sell it.
Crazy celebreties.
I don't know if this was the same thing that my dearest mother used to do as Gwyneth Paltrow had on her back or not.
My Mother was born in Greece & this was a Greek tradition called "Vodusis" & was used whenever one was suffering from Pleurisy or upper back pain. You would take a cylinder glass & slightly wet a small piece of cotton & place it on the inner side of the glass so that it will stick, light it with a match & very quickly before it goes out place the glass rim flat on the back. This would take about 4 glasses. The skin would puff up from the heat of it & be discolored in a purplish color. This was supposed to suck up all the pain out. She did it to me a couple of times & believe it or not, it WORKED!!! It was kinda of a trick in placing it on the back & removing the glass by slightly pressing down on the skin & be very careful not to just pull the glass up when the puffiness would go down.
I think my memory serves me correctly. I was suprised to see it again.

Hi
Those marks look like those I have in my legs left
by psoriasis.
Could it be one day , we will all be shameless or less
embarassed to show them off too?
Maybe not , as 'einna' said , P marks are not healthier than 'cupping'....
However , scars are result of a treatment .
Makes sense to think it has at least been taken care of.....
Just wondering...
:p
