I know that some of us don't like to celebrate milestone postings, but I do. So I am celebrating!
It hasn't been all that long since I found this great place. And I don't know what I ever did without it. I have a new found confidence with regards to how I feel about my P & PA. Education, support & friendship are the tools you have given me. And I want to say thank you.
And I want to wish my mother a Happy 80th birthday, although she isn't aware that she is having one. Mom has end stage Alzheimer's.
I plan to soak up the sun, swim in the pool and have dinner with dh and friends. Sounds like a great way to celebrate both milestones!!

Congratulations on the 1,000th post! (And I thought that I was such a big shot when I hit 100. Why...you're 10 times better than me!!) It IS a milestone. You ARE a treasure. And celebrate you should. It is tragic about your mom's struggle with Alzheimer's. But celebrate anyway. Maybe the mind can't understand but I feel that the soul does. Tell her that she's a treasure as well. And party until the cows come home!!
You're special and you're loved. Remember that always!

Oh more more thing, went to a wedding last night and danced the whole night. You will be happy to know I didn't kick anybody! :p
