Question:
I have been watching the newest member thingy on the bottom of the main message board screen. Budweiser has been there for a long time yet he has yet to post. So in honor of our newest member I have placed the first item up on ebay for sale to support Sally's book project. I'm going to post the link to the ebay item page, however, this in no way is a promotion for it. There are plenty of others out there willing to bid on this collectible item I found in my basement. So I please request that you do not bid on this item, however, feel free to observe it to see what you can do to support the cause. Its difficult to open up your checkbook for the NPF when you have other bills to pay but it just takes a few minutes to deplete your home of things that you really don't need and someone else would be happier with.
So welcome Budweiser! to the message boards.

And if you sell or buy on ebay, tell us your storys...good or bad. I've been doing it for a while and have a lot of fun storys to tell. This ones for the book project so I see no problem telling you here.
Once again, not an ad, but an example of what you might do to help the NPF or another mission that you believe in.
His name has been there for about a month, I think. And what a creative name too!
Welcome Budweiser to the P forums! :)
well I like his name too....but being that I used to enter contests and we would have to get really creative in winning over other entries...
I once won for a name the Christmas decorated candle....I called it "Holy Smokes" since it had holly around the base....hey! I won first prize :D
So in this case I think I would call him
Bud Wiser
went to your site Brad....I'm on a hunt for things to sell......looks good...
thanks for all the work you have put into this already....maybe a BOOK? YIPPEE!!! You and marielle have been great to work with ....and I'm looking forward to all of you coming out to visit and get better acquainted.... :D
UMMMMMmmmmm! Brad I have a question?....do you want us to try and sell items on Ebay to raise funds to get the book published? Shoot I have bought on Ebay but I once tried selling and kaput!!!!nada...do you have any hints, clues or whatever to get some of us going?.....
Sure do Sally, this is a good thing and will keep me off from the neverland. This is what I should have been doing. I will start an Ebay thread so anyone may do it on their own. I have done it for a while and I might even tell a story or two. Just a note, the book project has at least $5.50 towards, heck its a start, but the auction has 9 days to go so hopefully it will get a little higher by then. I'm going to work now so I will have to start the thread later tonight.
Brad
I have never talked to Joe...patchsigns much but I bet he can tell us something about this little beauty I put up this morning. PS, next time you shop at Meijers, thank them for their wonderful donation towards you book.
And who said we can't get your book published. Heck marielle already offered a lot of labor, now just a few more auctions and you just might be getting your hugs from Jessie.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...me=STRK:MESE:IT
PS, I started the ebay thread so start asking some questions.
Brad
Who can't afford to publish a book Sally? I think we all can pitch in a little to get it done. Not everyone is asking for a handout or cash, just a little american ingenutiy and a little work and hopefully we can have a book for the kids. Anyone in West Michigan that has a little time on Sunday, feel free to PM me if you would like to help. Anybody got an info on old cars. This was well before my time. Feel free to comment on this item here if you know anything about it.

I think we need a NPF membership drive. I am already a member of the NPF, do I need to join a second time to make Budweiser disappear from the bottom of the main message board page? Maybe the webmaster can comment on how that little spot with the newest member gets changed. Budweiser has been the newest member way to long. That spot should be changing on a daily basis, not monthly. Eric, how does that work?
hi brad
i think it's broke. it should change when some one new joins. i think.
have a good day all

Note from the Psoriasis Foundation Member Services Coordinator:
Eric is now aware of the problem with "Budweiser" being are supposed newest Member.
He is looking into it.
Thanks for the heads up!

Well Sue and Sally came up with a thank you for the group and a thank you from the author of the book that this project hopefully will be able to fund soon. So here's another win for the psoriasis cause. Not only will the buyers get something that they want they will be supporting the book and will also get a little bit of education on psoriasis. So this project seems to be coming together quite well. Just wait till you see Sally blow her horn! Stay tuned to see what this is all about and thank you for your support. Maybe I should play the flute this weekend! OHHH if you only new what I had in my warehouse.
Brad, I spoke to a lady here at work, she's going to look in her attic to see what she can donate for us to sell on Ebay. So far, she said she has 4 or 5 older Ducks Unlimited prints that were signed by the artist I guess it's a well known artist that should bring pretty good $$, she's seen them framed going for around $4,500 but they're not framed. She thinks she has a lot of other things she could donate as well (she collects antiques). I think I can get my parents to give us something as well as my sister. I think we're in pretty good shape.
WOW Sue....that sounds great.....and Brad I keep checking Ebay can't get over how the price keeps going up.....When I tried selling last year....all I got were a bunch of lookers! :p
yes it is a good thing, just remember that asking for money sometimes is tough because most of us need our own to run our households, but for someone to donate something that they no longer use or don't need and don't mind that it will be used for this purpose, I see nothing wrong with that. I don't like doing the high pressure thing, it turns me off personally. However, asking someone to donate something no longer useful or used from your home or work is a lot easier than asking for cash. It also doesn't give the appearance that a group or individual is always hounding one for money. Remember, the important thing is to make sure they are doing something they can afford to do, they will feel good about the purpose.
I don't have a problem asking for money. I do collections here at work so I'm used to always asking for money  She wouldn't have offered if she didn't want to do it or if she couldn't afford it. She's the boss' wife :D :D
Excellent Sue, you are awesome. Now get off these boards and have you man take you away for the Weekend! Do enjoy! TGIF!
Can't get off the board yet Brad. I'm still at work :D :D I'm stuck here till 5 and we're not going away till tomorrow. So you're stuck with me till then :p :D :D
Today our first auction ends, amazing how time flys! Eric, I think Budweiser is a hack, you can usually fix something in a matter of seconds and I know you're aware of him.
Anyway, our auctions are coming around to get this book thing together. Marielle is getting close to having the quote on the book and then we will have our goal. I'm going trick or treating in Crown Point, IN on Saturday and we'll see how much of a treat Sallys gonna put forth towards the ebay sale, keep watching.
Also, get your orders in to Sally, we're gonna get this book for the kids done.
So far we have raised over $250 this week, this is a good thing!
Sues got some stuff too. Maybe a grand or two by the end of the year, lets see.
hi brad
i see he is back. i think your right. how can you tell he is a hacker.
have a good day all
