haha. Had to say that. I just got home from the craft fair, aka home craft days. I got all kinds of cool items. I got conversation pieces for CA. :: cackle :: Imagine going to a door and seeing a cob that says "Hillbilly toothbrush" then walking in to see this wierd plastic spoon attached to the base of this wooden object with a hole six inches above the base. Above the object it says "Basketball goal" :p It's pretty hard to play too. It's an old'en type toy. I love those. I"m going to give one to a friend to see if he can figure it out.
I'm also going to give some mountain books to some friends. :: cackles insanely :: Try to figure them words out!
Gotta love the fun side to mountain heritage. The rest is just purty.

Yes I know too....I was one of the crafters for many years...we still do a few...some of the better ones....
When people come into my house it looks like a craft fair....coffee table, knick-knacks, chopping block in kitchen....art everywhere (all but my own) my christmas tree is loaded with all homemade ornaments that I collected for years! Nothing like handcrafted purses, jewelry, even some of my summer dresses....(all cotton cause crafters know how to keep cool!)
I love purchasing from someone I know too...makes it very special to me........
I went to a local craft show yesterday. I enjoy going. I came home with a ceramic pottery coffee mug, 2 christmas ornaments, lavender sea salts!, bath stuff with honey, a cherry pit pac! Here's a link: http://tinyurl.com/6fg58 (i need to post that one in the PA forum), and some candy coated almonds (yummer!) I enjoy supporting the vendors and walking away with some goodies!
I did think of you Sally as I walked around there, I bet you do so well at the craft shows your work I'm certain gets attention!
