Hey Everyone,
ummm well i have some stuff ive got to tell you, so below here is a letter that i have written to all of you. This is one of the hardest things i've ever had to tell someone. As you read my letter to you... even if it makes you angry, could you please keep in mind that i am young and immature, and i still have yet to gain the knowledge that all of you adults possess ... that is very important to keep in mind. No matter how mature i sound and act, im still a kid, and kids make these kind of mistakes... so brace urselves folks, cuz this ones a hard one... here it goes.
Dear Friends at the NPF,
I'm not exactly who you think I am. You see, it all started this one day, a long time ago near the beginning of my membership w/ the NPF. I had a friend over, and i wanted to check my NPF mail and the boards, so i logged on... well... i went away for a few minutes, i was watching t.v. while my friend was on the computer... and i was logged into the NPF chatroom and there were a bunch of NPF ppl in there. So she thought it'd be funny, so she started chatting with them, and she told them this stuff about how good i was at piano and that i was at such a high level in piano and stuff... but im not! im only in grd 3 piano, not very good!!!i didnt know about her telling you guys all of this...AND THEN... another time she was at my house and the same thing happened, but she was talking about soccer with y'all and about how i was captain of the team and stuff... and then i walked in on her doing this and i realized wht she had just done. She also explained to me about the whole piano thing. Well... most of what she said wasnt true, but i wanted you guys to still like me, so i followed along with what she said, i never corrected it b/c i wanted you to like me so much... so basically, a lot of what you know (or think you know) about me, isnt real... so right now, im gonna re-introduce myself to you!!!
Hi, im Kimberly, most people call me Kim. I am 13 years old, and i am very energetic, usually hyper, and on fire for my God. I love playing soccer, i played on a soccer team this year (not the captain) but will not be continuing it next year. I also play the piano, at a grade 3 level, and i enjoy playing it. I am a bit of a trouble maker, but i try my hardest to be good. Some other things i enjoy doing are shopping (doesnt every girl), singing with my worship team in church, having bible meets with my friends and stuff, just plain chilling with my friends (doesnt every teen?)... and lots more...
So folks, this is me- the real me. I understand that most of you are probably angry/upset about this, but you would not believe how unbelievably sorry i am. Over the next little while i will work my heart out to regain your trust, respect, and love. I love all of you and i dont know what i would do without you. I hope that you can understand that im a kid, and i make mistakes (including lying) and i am reaaaaallllllly sorry!!!!!!

Friends can do silly things sometimes and what she did is pretty hard to undo without a great amount of courage! And boy do you have a great deal of courage and wisdom for someone so young!

I had psoriasis now for a year. I hate psoriasis. ointments,creams,and steroids. Iwant to hide from the world. I have read everything i possibly could and it seems hopeless for a cure. I am now trying to learn to accept it . I still want to put my head in a paper bag whenever ther is a new breakout. I ashamed when they asked what's that on your forehead and i have to explain and the look is ohhhh. I can't wait for clear skin.

Gosh, we used to make phone calls and pretend we were the girlfriends of the husband of the house...we thought it was so funny...they must have known we were kids, but everyone pulls pranks and stunts...

I think it's not unheard of to exaggerate in an online circumstance when you are new to a chat room. I think the subconcious thinks that the people on the other end aren't real and you may never see them again. But in truth, they are real and if you stick around you develop friendships.
So..... sounds like this is what happened and I'm SO glad you got it off your chest and started fresh....must be a load off your mind and soul, that's great!
Maybe reminding your friend that this board is important to you and not a game would be a good idea.

It took courage to come clean! I'm proud of you. Peer pressure is a difficult thing to deal with. Your friend might need some guidance from you as to the right thing to do and the importance of this board to you.
Have you ever thought about starting a support group in your area for people your age? Just a thought. Maybe there are teens that would love to have the support of you and others.
You are a good kid and don't let anyone tell you different.
We do love you, even if you make more mistakes.
I'm sure your faith in God and the effort to please Him, will keep you on the right path.
