I'm assuming that because of the burgandy color. I liked dress #1 the best, although it looks more like a bride's dress. My second choice would be #2.
The last photo is kind of hard to evaluate, because of the way they are crouching.

I really like #1 (but I think everyone would have to be thin, there is no margin for "error"...:) ) I really love #2 that would definately be my choice.....very elegant, nice little flare.

I like #4-
I think it is simple and the A line cut is falttering to all body types.
I have been a bridesmaid 7 times(always a bridesmaid NEVER a bride-
mainly because I can't find a guy who will deal with My Psoriasis. Oh well, their loss!!!)

Those dresses are for the bridesmaids - and they are all thin girls so they can wear a "fitting" dress.
I already have my dress - it is ivory - and not "fitting" LOL
The wedding is 9/25/04!!

I have a friend who served as her sister's maid of honor, the only attendant. The sister is quite a bit older than my friend, and is not as good-looking. They went dress shopping, and while my friend found a couple of dresses which she like, and fitted her well but were not over-done, her sister demanded that she buy a dress that basically looked like a sack.
I have a feeling that the sister didn't want any competition. My friend borrowed a pair of Bruno Magli pumps from me, since she needed a beige shade to match the dress, and didnt think she would ever wear them again, so I offered to lend her my shoes. I told her to be sure to mention to her sister that they were Magli's, which are very expensive shoes (I got them at a great sale.)
One of the times that I served as a bridesmaid, for someone who lived aways from me, I gave them my measurements over the phone. I was planning to arrive a few days before the wedding, and a good thing it was.
The dress they were sent for me was so small that it wouldn't even zip up. The bride, who was on her last nerve at that point, started yelling at me that I must have gained weight etc etc. Then her sister, who is much thinner than myself or the bride, tried the dress on, and when she couldn't zip it up either, the bride agreed the store had screwed up.
Thankfully, the dress while sleeveless, kind of like the last ones of your pics, had a piece of gauzy fabric that hung over the front and back of the dress. The seemstress was able to add material under that, where it wouldnt show, in order for me to get into the dress.Otherwise she would have had one bridesmaid less in the party, unless I wore blue jeans!

Hi Amy...............Since your girls are all thin, I go with #1. It will look so good in burgundy. Love it!!! (They are all beautiful, no matter what you choose). It's fun making choices though.....what's next?????? :) .......the cake???.......j/k

I think the #1 dress is the nicest but they are all nice and I'm sure everyone will look wonderful no matter what you choose!
