Question:
I don't think so...I'm a heavy smoker and I 've been having the same results every year for the last 5 or 6 years of heavy smoking...no differnt change from summer and winter...summers I usally clear up really good and winters I get bad....what do you guys think..and please no talks about smoking and quiting and lectures on smoking does have a cause..you can tell me it does have a cause or say so in psoriasis..but don't give me a lecture about it..lol..sorry:D
Smoking is a bad habit and I am sure you have been told that is no good for you and you should stop.Having said that I not here to preach to you. I have never seen anthing on these boards as to the effects of smoking and their "P". I know a nuber of people with "P" who do smoke and none who have equated it with their "P".
It is an interesting notion and this non-smoker would love to here what others have to say.
By the way welcome to boards
Mitch
I'm also inclined to lecture on the evils of tobacco, but won't go there....for now ;) Having said that, I know a number of our members are ex-smokers, and quitting hasn't made much difference for them. Welcome to the boards.
I'm a smoker,,,cut down quite alot,,,but I never was a heavy smoker,,,,getting to hate the smell,,,,,so eventually,,,I know I'll quit......I see know difference,,,but I haven't quit yet!!!!!!Now drinking I did hear it's not good for P,,,I heard that long ago,,,,but I'm not a drinker,,,so can't help with that!!!!!as far as summer and winter,,,my feet are the worst in the winter,,,especially when I wear running sneaks,,,,,bad,,bad,,,,bad,,,right now.....
Im an ex-smoker(although I still get the urge when I have a drink or two);) ,Does that ever go away? lol
My ps got a little worse when I first quit several years ago. But in my situation, I think stress or stress-related issues tend to make me flare along with viral infections.
And boy..was quitting smoking stressful for me.

I have been both a smoker and a non smoker during my P. I am currently a nonsmoker. No difference at all with the P either way. Same with the drinking, no difference for me either way.
Of course with P, different things effect different people.
smoke um if you've got um!
I smoked almost 3 packs a day for 35 years. I quit Oct 13,2000 cold turkey & put on 50 lbs. Since I quit, my P has flared to it's worst until a couple months ago when I changed to a healthier lifestyle & attitude.
