well this is a trick question so by dissecting the question I came up with (thought long and hard on this)
he must be a BLINDS salesman, you know sells window blinds,...so he wouldn't need sunglasses:D

This might be the first time my "A" in Logic in college helped me. I'm usually very quick and incorrect about this sort of puzzle, but it just came to me right away. It was probably due to the fact that I just reacted and didn't try to think it through too hard.

This was logical to me. I just immediatly thought he is blind, not mute, so why wouldn't he just ask?..but then there are those darned riddles on that other thread..I can't get ONE of those!!
