I had a great weekend---all things considered.
Friday night my husband and I ordered pizza. Our neighbors wanted us to go out with them for pizza, but we passed because we were so tired. We had it delivered. It was burnt. We ate it anyway! We went to bed at 9:30. We just don't do that on a Friday night. We've been married for 33 yrs. and have gone out to eat almost every Friday. O.K. so we missed one. I guess we're officially old F**ts now.
We played golf on Saturday and had a 7:30 dinner reservation with six other friends. We were finally served our dinner (absolutely FABULOUS) at 9:20. Everyone was supposed to come back to our place for dessert, but we were all so tired we decided to do it on Sunday night.
Today I made a crock pot stew in the morning(after sleeping in late) and my DH made a great brunch for us and CLEANED UP!!! We headed out to play again this afternoon with friends and were having an absolutely perfect round (in our minds that means we are playing what I like to call--AROBIC GOLF) when I stepped into a hole beside a very deep lake and fell on my right side. I WAS very lucky. Instead of falling 15 feet down into a positivly muddy mess I managed to fall on my right knee and wrist and avoid a painful and embarrassing situation.
So life is GOOD!!!
