Question:
In my local newspaper's review of this movie, the writer didn't bother to mention psoriasis. She said Downey's character was "afflicted with a disgusting skin disease"
there goes more ignorance for you. When people without education of the subject speak, this is what you get. I heard
Robert Downey Jr. said something similar on one of the Tonight Shows, and this comes from a man that had been battling a disgusting, nasty drug addiction, tsk, tsk.
Two uneducated people speaking on something they know nothing about, sheesh don't people research things anymore????
take care and smile

Whoa! You mean Robert Downey Jr. said something like that after he'd played the part? Did he learn nothing about the problems of the character he was portraying? That doesn't say much for the movie. In my humble opinion, anyway.

I heard that it was not Downey who said it but someone on E during a review.
>>>Robert Downey Jr. said something similar on one of the Tonight Shows
what a jacka**
Indeed!
The cheek!
"afflicted with a disgusting skin disease"
I am not too amused by the disgusting part - but if i was honest and not a fellow sufferer...
Who knows what I would say...
I find it digusting - but it sounds like the person afflicted is disgusting...if you know what i mean...
because i dont :D
It was in a mag. review and !@#$%^&*! me....
Bluma
I work for a movie promotion company, and though we aren't promoting the movie, i know the folks upstairs (they keep me in the basement... "yesh mashtah!!!") know nothing about the "disgusting skin disease" as the reviewers so uneloquently put it... though i've not talked to anyone upstairs about the movie directly, i do know that the director never really mention P in the film... if so it's almost too quick to notice. I think this was due to the fact that it's not a movie ABOUT psoriasis... but about this guys ways of "dealing" with his "condition"... blah blah blah...
i agree with Paw, i feel it's a disgusting disease... only because i'm disgusted with it... not because i think the person afflicted with P is disgusting...
or did i miss what you were trying to say Paw??

1 Attachment(s) I say all us people with this "disgusting disease" & our friends & family members should keep our "disgusting" money and not support this movie
-it will be on video in a week without people going to see it--It will cost the production company big bucks---Maybe Robert Downey should watch his statements too- being that he is a "disgusting" Drug user... harsh huh?
Can I be any madder?????!!!!!!!!
Ok, I am finished venting for now!!! hee hee
Just another Disgusting Psoriasis Suffererer
