Ok I have bad news for the Chicago friends. I will be nable to make it this weekend. I broke my ankle yesterday at my mother in laws house. Stupid critches are awful. Makes getting around rough for me . and I am not going feel like traveling that is for sure. The way it looks right now is that i am not going ot ba able to get there to visit until after the new year. I was so looking forward to this trip believe me. I just feel bad now that I have upset the plans tha tyou have made to make me feel welcome there. But as it is said there is always next time..

Oh Gretchen, so sorry to hear you broke your ankle, hope you feel better. This should make you feel better....when I was 8 months pregnant (my stomach was so big I couldn't see my feet) I tripped up a mat!!!! So I was in a cast with a huge stomach, what a trip!!!!

I know that Bella and Allie will probably be heart-broken. I am sad that we won't be able to see you this weekend. I was really looking forward to meeting the esteemed CG in person, but I completely understand. I do hope you heal fast. There will be another time; no worries. I've never broken a bone (knock on formica), so I'm sure you'll find it an adventure to talk about. I'll be anxious to hear of your stories. If I was closer, I'd come over and sign your cast!

Maybe this will cheer you up a bit. I hope you have the same experience my Mother had when she wore a cast on her leg. When the cast came off, her Psoriasis was GONE from under the cast. Don't know where your P is, but if it's covered, maybe it will be gone too. Mom said at first it itched worse than ever, but then quit.
