Question:
i want me and robin to come and her to enjoy her self. but my son is coming along. i can't drive that far for a hour till they get under there skin. then i have to drive all the way home. i love them but i can't do it. i need thing for my self to. see you all later and enjoy your selfs. maybe i will catch you next time. have fun

No Fair Rich, your only an hour away from the get-together and your not going.....some of us would love to go but I would have had to have already left to get there on time. Tell Robin and your son that you want peace and quiet on the drive up and back and if they make a sound you'll pull over and leave them on the side of the road..... :) :) If that doesn't work find your favorite radio station, and sing along with the music, really loud, drown them out.....
I hope you change your mind and go.... It sounds like a lot of fun!!!

It's not too late. Get in the car and go by yourself NOW! You need to do this for yourself, my friend. If Robin doesn't understand later, then she needs some lessons in empathy. :mad: I hope you see this and will go. The group will be there for a while, and someone will be there for you. Call Mike or Mitch if you need help, or want to know where the group is. Just drive carefully. Take care.

thank you for caring. every thing is work out. she act's know like she did when we first started to date. i love her so much. this was about going to nj. she new she hurt me. but it's all worked out. as they say life it's always ease. i just wish it was.

Rich, you should take up my offer to go to U of M. This might be a good way for her to get out with you and address your P. I don't know the whole story here, but I am married too and it is so important for our spouses......and or mothers and fathers (if you're young) to understand our P and the need for treatment and socialization.
My wife and daughter have done a very good job for me. My wife and I don't have a perfect marriage, I'm not sure that any of us do, but she trys very hard to help. Its the try that counts.
There is no doubt in my mind that P affects more than our skin.

thank you for the offer. some day i will make it out there. as for me and robin. it's along story. we have a wonderful and caring marriage. we went though alot this summer. it started 2 years when she worked for her unlce. he was going to give her the school some day. he borroed all of are life saving. she would ask me if he could and i said yes. because i love her and her family. i couldn't tell no one what was happen because she said not to and that would have destored every thing. at the end she when back to were she worked before. he went out of buness and owes her 7 months pay. we went form having and going on vac for the first time down to nothing. then came the house thing and me finding here. this place mean alot more then p to me. for the first time since i have been with robin. i got some were to tell all my feeling and find help and make friend. now robins not the only one in my life. and that makes robin jeluse because she not the only one that helps and lisen to me. she helps me but don't under stand how and what my p and pa do to me. i can under stand that because i don't eather. she knows she and kyle are first in my life. i will do any thing to care and protect them. she just didn't know what it mean to me to see you all. we will the next time.

I understood just fine. I know it's nice to have a place you can go, to talk to others that understand some of the things that you are going through. Even when the ones that are closest to us don't understand. I don't really have any friends, and as strange as it sounds I don't really want any. But it's nice to have a place that I can go and talk to others, and voice my opinions.
Let me rephrase that. I don't want any friends to hang out with. I consider you people friends. For some reason I don't like to be social. I prefer to stay at home. Going out in public, other than when I am at work gives me anxiety. I didn't used to be that way, and it's not the P that makes me feel that way. Most days I could really care less about the P, but it was only when it became painful that I went to the doctor. But going out and being around a lot of people, especially strangers, freaks me out. That is one reason that I like working the overnight shift. I used to have people that I called friends, but that was mainly in college. I even met my wife online. lol She's my best friend, even though I don't see her alot. Oh well, it works for us.
Rich, I am glad you got things straightened out with the wife, and I hope you are doing well.
