Question:
I'm asking that this 'Time limit' be extended to 7 days.
Some of us, on certain occasions, may wish to delete a thread or post after 1440 minutes.
Some of us can't get on within 1440 minutes.
The upside to this scenario is space saving for NPF with less downtime & less embarassment for members who have threaded or posted on the spur of the moment that they later may wish to delete.

Geeze spiderman I agree and I think perhaps this is your longest post!!
hahhaaa!!
The 1440 minutes (24 hours) was thought out carefully and was put in place very specificially because of past issues on the site.
If you would like a post deleted, you're more than welcome to request it. Our intention is never to create any sort of embarrasment or problem.

Dont worry about it Eric I think you guys are doing a great job in running the board. I Moderate a board that has 40,428 members, 211,778 threads, 4,025,633 posts. we have a strick policy that no member has rights to edit or delete there posts. Rule number one there is think before you post. If you make your bed you sleep in it. its Something everone should do thats post on a public message board. However that is how we do it their and it suits me just fine. I am not a member of the board admin here so I will not tell them how run there board.
