Question:
we just got our power back at 7:30pm EST, so that was 27 hours w/o electric. The biggest problem was the water..if you are in a building much above 6 stories, they pump the water up to holding tanks on the roof, so when the power fails, the pumps start working. I had quite a bit of water on hand, but certain activities - I won't elaborate - were a bit more of a hassle than usual! I also decided that creams/ointments & the like would wait until I was able to take a regular shower.

Seeing that Cleveland is my hometown, I'd just like to apologize on behalf of the city, to the entire north east for us screwing up your power....our bad :)
