What's up?? Why leave?? I worry that you may be depressed or something. If that's the case then you MUST stick around!! Why do it alone?? There is a lot of joking around here but that's how most of us cope, ya know?! We can say things to each other that no one else better ever try to say to us. Please reconsider leaving.

Hey Denny,
You know, there have been times that I was ready to leave this community also, but only for the reason that sometimes seeing so many people experiencing the horrors of this disease ends up becoming too overwhelming. Instead of it helping, sometimes it backfires and makes me more angry that this "condition" even exists. That's when you take a break, instead of leaving, and come back when you need it. There are those who use this site to help others, to help themselves and both. There is nothing wrong with visiting on occasion for help or advise as we would hate to see you go for good.
I'm 28 and have "technically" had P since the 5th grade, which makes it 18yrs. As of 3pm today I back on cyclosporine and hoping for great improvement (I'm about 60% covered). I have P on may face and hands and have to deal with a lot of people everday who I know see it and wonder. I can feel their stares and it drives me MAD!!!! ARRGGHHH!!! But I just keep on truckin' and keep on livin' the best I can.
I wish you luck with whatever decision you make.

Hang in there, Denny. Remember, the only enemy on this board is Mr. P. We all have met him and we are united in our loathing of him. If I had even the computer skills of a reasonably bright chimp, I would be glad to share them with you -- but I don't.

The only reason in my eyes to leave is if you have no connection whatsoever to Psoriasis.
Otherwise its a wealth of information.

least will have a chuckle from it if not laugh till your tummy hurts! You will

No! Don't go Denny. Please tell us know what you want or need from this support group. We would like to know more about why you are leaving so that we can help you. Sometimes we don't recognize immediately what an individual needs - that's why we need your feedback. We want to help you!! We wouldn't be here if we didn't want to support each other.
If you don't want to post it to the boards, send me a private message. If you don't want to send me a private message, send it to someone with whom you feel comfortable - someone with whom you made a connection.
If you decide that you definitely don't want to come back here, I hope you will keep this in mind: everyone on this message board has psoriasis so we can truly sympathize with what you are going through. We will always be here if/when you need us.

Don't know why you're leaving but I gotta tell ya' I always thought I could deal with P on my own and I did I figured I was tough enough to deal with things on my own and sharing my experiences with people was nothing but psychobabble nonsense. WELL I WAS WRONG!
I HAD NO IDEA HOW GOOD IT IS TO SHARE MY EXPERIENCES WITH OTHER P-PEOPLE.
There are so many great people on these boards that know EXACTLY what you are going thru and are willing to help.

She is right, I would have prefered to have met one and all over a pint in a pub rather than due to P but at least we have each other.
