Hi All,
Since a lot of us are here in the evening I would imagine, how about setting up a nightly chat time for those who want to come?
Say from 7-9 eastern time? What do you all think let me know!!!

I would be very happy to chat in the evenings, any evening would be fine. However, I don't think the chats should start any earlier than 9:00 PM EDT, because don't forget our brethren in PDT who are 3 hours behind us. Also, it is still summer and many people stay outdoors as long as there still is sunlight. So I'm game, let's see what the others think!
BTW, on Sunday evening at 11:00 PM EDT I tried to log-in to Chat and I got the old familiar "Connection to server failed". Did anyone else experience difficulty in logging-in to the Chat Room on Sunday evening 7/27?

I've tried to go on the chat room but it has been impossible. From what I see a lot of us are having the same problem. We can open a chat room in yahoo under the "health" category. M-F nights from 9pm Eastern time. .....................Just an idea.

heck yes......and lynne when you've been married as long as me...
and hubby is retired...so we get 24/7 of each other its nice to get the time...(once in a while anyway)....plus I'm not into sports that much (unless the Bulls/Bears are in a winning mode) so he has his time...and loves it and I have mine...but I can see that wouldn't work when time together is limited by jobs, kids or etc.
so if we get the ball rolling on this project........ I'm all for it

For some reason, our chat room just does not want to stay running. It was checked on Friday and was fine. Saturday it was down again, so we brought it back up and it was fine for a while. The, apparently last night it was down again.

We should definitely consider the NPF Chat Room as our prime chat venue. There is already a plethora of psoriasis chats on Yahoo and MSN, why would we want to create yet another? Also, if we go outside to Yahoo or MSN, some of us will have to open new accounts and create new usernames and passwords and keep all that information straight. Yahoo and MSN chat rooms get bombarded with banner ads and advertisements too.
I am sure the NPF Chat Room will be debugged in short order and be 100% reliable. Even if some of us go outside for a bit to visit other chat rooms, we should always look towards making the NPF Chat Room our prime meeting place. Keep checking the NPF Chat Room and let's make this community our place for chat.

I agree Bobby, but in the mean time a few of us are gonna set up a chat...I will be contacting some and asking them to be regulars to keep a room open as long as people want to come and go....There seems to be a lot of interest so far so we will see how it goes....but yes its best to chat here if they can get it going... I think the time is good at 9 pm M-F wastern....
