Question:
We understand that some of you are still having problems entering the chat room. To help us fix the problem, please send an e-mail directly to norah@npfusa.org and tell us what problems you are experiencing (black screen, etc.). Please also provide information about the type of computer you are using, the operating system (Windows, what version, etc.) and the browser (Netscape, AOL, etc.). This will help us to identify the problem and fix it as soon as possible.

When I click on CHAT NOW I get a list of instructions but I cannot bring up the bottom of the page. The install does not seem to take place. I have a COMPAQ computer, a desktop model. My monitor is an AVITRON - Touch by Dynapro. If this is not enough info please let me know. gertrude
Ok I'm running the following system
Mac G4 Powerbook (dialup connection..sigh)
OS X 10.1.5
Running Mozilla (the code that Netscape uses)
Mozilla 1.1a
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.1a) Gecko/20020610
I get the chat window with a black border around it and no response.
Ditto from IE 5.1
From the Classic environment (which is the OS 9.2 shell) running Netscape Navigator 4.7 I can get it...
This might be something to do with the way the Java is implemented? No idea.
Also, it'd be nice to be able to access the IRC room via a regular IRC chat program. (I use Ircle) Although I suspect this would involve some additional staffing or something security wise to give out the server name, etc.
