It has been one of the longest septembers i can remember in a long time.... i just got my power back after not having it for the last 4 days last time it took 6 days. I'm so happy to have it thou there are still over 500,000 in the state right now that dont have any power let alone a roof over there heads so i'am verrrrry thankfull.....
I just started enbrel again and was able to get it thru the V.A yestarday and kept it in a cooler overnite. I had to get a TB test as they told me people that have it before they start using enbrel is now causing the disease to re-emerge and become active again.... if you have it. When i went on it the first time my derm never tested me for it and thank goodness i didnt. they told me the dept. of disease control & prevension is nationally advising all derms to be testing for it before prescribing it as TB is an airborn disease and can be caught from anyone that sneezes or cough's. The good news is now it can be cured with medications the bad news is it can take up to 6 months and you cant have enbrel.
I hope everyone is doing good and your all in my prayers...... i was able to read some of the thread's and as usual they impress me and are so imformative....... I do like the new design and layout it will take some time for me to learn it all, as long as i have power long enough to try and figure it out.....I'm going to go out and celebrate my birthday this weekend and find a restaurant that can cook me a BIG old steak that has power.
In the mean time i want everyone to try and take care of themselve as i know it aint easy.......... cause it aint for me.......
