Question:
I have to write a persuasive essay for class thursday. Actually in class as my final. UGH!! I am clueless as to what topic it should be. I have written so much for this class that I am out of ideas. Do you have any? Can you help? Ok need to take myself off to study for my other class.. thanks for listening..LOL

Try persuading the class...
...that getting a degree will or will not give you a higher salary than a high school education.
...that in an ethical movie (such as 'Bruce Almighty', or 'Of Mice and Men') the main character's did the right or wrong thing (In 'Bruce Almighty', his use of God's powers and in 'Of Mice and Men' George killing Lenny in the end of the book/movie)
...that 20 minutes of exercise a day boosts up or slows down your metabolism.
...that forigners do or do not really steal jobs
...that reading a book a week does or does not incrase your vocabulary
...video games do or do not make people violent
...an apple a day does or does not keep the doctor away.
...washing your hands for 20seconds really does or does not kill the germs
...prove or disprove the 15 second rule.
...convince the class that you're amazing, and they suck, lol (just kidding.)
Lol. I have no idea, but I hope that helped a bit. <.< I did a LOT of papers in my first year of college (I took 3 english courses in 2 semesters, since I'm planning on majoring in English Education.
I don't know if you are in to politics, but if so you can choose any one of a million social issues to create a pursuasive essay about.
- For or against universal healthcare
- For or against gay marriage
- For or against Executive Priviliges
- For or against global warming
Depending on how long the essay needs to be it's very easy to source political issues since everyone and their mother weighs in on the subject.
She usually wants a 500 word 5 paragraph essay. Thank goodness this will be my last one.. LOL

The last one I did was on global warming.. first thing when she handed it back to me this morning was " You must have done alot of reading" Umm duh..lol it was after all a research paper.. what is a research paper with out reading to find the information.. I know I learned alot and so did she..
