Are the forums working today?
Question:

I'm wondering if the forums are working like they should. Someone told me that they can't add attachments. I'd like to try. Here's a copy of the NPF logo from this website.

Hi Brian,
I'm having the same problem. I just e-mailed the moderators and let them know that about it.

Hi Folks - I'm "the web dude" trying to fix it, actually - glad to see you saw the post.
So - if you can, please let me know what isn't working for you - I thought my attempt looked good - as far as inserting an image, which is the problem that was refered to me...

Hi Brian,
In any thread (either newly created or existing) you can add an image in the form of an attachment. (There are size and file extension limitations.) A single attachment appears as an image at the bottom of a post; multiple attachments appear as links. This is especially useful if you want to add pictures of your psoriasis to your post.
Here's the command sequence that's not working (in the case of a newly created thread:
  • Click on "new thread"
  • Add your subject and the text of your message
  • Click on "manage attachments". A new window will open. For each attachment:
    • Select your attachment using "browse" and then "upload". (The attachments should appear in as links at the bottom of the window.)
    • Click on "Close this window".
  • Click on "submit new post"

The command sequence is similar (the only difference is that you click on "Post Reply") if you are replying to an existing thread.
I hope this helps.

This thread is wierd, because some of the images are showing and others are not:

In every instance you can see where the attached image used to be.
I hope this helps.

Mike--
I noticed this as well. I know that the reason for my pictures showing up is because i use a link from another site [[photobucket]]. I host all my pictures on there and then attach them.
I hope this helps.

We are working to correct this problem. We switched Web servers this week, and there appear to be a few "hiccups," including the missing photos. We are doing all we can to get them back!
We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

1 Attachment(s) There was a change in the names of directories in the file systems here at here and I've fixed the one pointing to the existing attachments. Thank you for the pointers - I see there are pictures where there might not have been. Sorry folks for the snarl.
